Rocket Ropes Social Media Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions

1.2. Winners of this promotion will be drawn at random from those responding in accordance with our required instructions to the give-away offers on the Auckland International Airport Limited Facebook and Instagram pages (“Competition”).

1.1. Information produced by us on how to enter the Competition draw and prizes for the Competition draw forms part of these Terms. By entering the Competition draw, you are deemed to accept these Terms. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and at any time, to replace or amend these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition.

1.3. The promoter of the Competition is Auckland International Airport Limited. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and/or other social media channels. You completely release Facebook and/or other social media channels from any and all liability associated with this Competition.

2. Eligibility

2.1. Except as set out at 2.2. and 2.3. below, the Competition draw is open to New Zealand residents.

2.2. You are not eligible to enter the Competition draw if you are an employee of Auckland International Airport Limited, an employee of any company (including Butterfly Creek or Rocket Ropes) directly associated with the competition, or directly involved in providing a Prize for the competition, or an immediate family member of such employees. Auckland Airport reserves the right to request proof of an entrant's eligibility if there is a doubt over his/her eligibility for the Competition.

2.3. Acting reasonably, we may exclude any person from entering into the Competition draw.

3. Entry

3.1. Entrants must follow the instructions on the Competition Facebook or Instagram post and/or other social media channel to enter this competition.

3.2. You may enter the Competition draw once only per applicable social media channel. You may enter the Competition draw between 9 a.m. on 17 December 2021 until 9 a.m. on 20 December 2021 ("Promotional Period").

3.3. We cannot accept responsibility for any lost, misplaced, illegible, damaged, stolen, late or incomplete entries.

4. Prizes

4.1. After the Promotional Period, one (1) eligible entry on Facebook will be randomly selected to win 1x double pass (1x adult ticket and 1x child ticket) to Rocket Ropes on the dates and times specified in accordance with these Terms ("Prize"). One (1) eligible entry on Instagram will be randomly selected to win 1x double pass (1x adult ticket and 1x child ticket) to Rocket Ropes on the dates and times specified in accordance with these Terms ("Prize")

(i) Butterfly Creek and Rocket Ropes terms and conditions will apply and tickets are available for use within 6 months from when received. Tickets will be emailed to the winner by Butterfly Creek.

4.2. Conditions that apply to the Prize generally:

(i) The Prize is personal to the winner, and cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be transferred or exchanged.

(ii) If the Prize is not available for any reason, we reserve the right to substitute the Prize with an alternative Prize.

(iii) The Prize is taken entirely at the Prize winner's own risk. We will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury (including but not limited to any indirect or consequential loss) suffered or incurred by you or any other person as a result of or in connection with the Competition or any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

(iv) During the Promotional Period, Auckland International Airport Limited reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, pandemic, epidemic or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of Auckland International Airport Limited’s control.

(v) Entering the Competition constitutes a winner’s consent to be photographed and/or interviewed by Auckland International Airport Limited or Butterfly Creek or Rocket Ropes and other interested media outlets and to use his or her name, city/town of residence, Competition entry for Competition or publicity purposes without compensation. This includes Auckland International Airport Limited’s website, direct and social media channels and PR.

(vi) These Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

(vii) You will be responsible for arranging your own transport to and from Butterfly Creek or Rocket Ropes at your own cost.

(viii) Claiming of the Prize will be subject to the relevant Butterfly Creek or Rocket Ropes terms and conditions (and those of their partners). The winner must read these terms and conditions carefully as Auckland International Airport Limited has no liability or responsibility in relation to the Prize.

5. Winning

5.1. The Prize winner will be determined by us by random draw as specified by the Facebook Competition post and/or other social media channel. The draw will take place after 9am, 20 December 2021. Only a person who originally entered the Competition draw is eligible to win a Prize.

5.2. By entering the Competition you agree to provide us with your email address, phone number and postal address and you consent to these details being shared with our competition partners for the purposes of issuing the Prize.

5.3. Auckland International Airport Limited will notify the Prize winners by replying to their Competition entry in the comments section of the applicable social media post with instructions to send us a direct message on Facebook.

5.4. If the winner does not respond or cannot be reached within 24 hours, we may redraw a new Prize winner at random or in a future competition without liability to you or any other person. Auckland International Airport Limited reserves the right to contact the selected winners by other means.

5.5. We may refuse to award the Prize to any person who has, in our view, acted in a fraudulent manner, breached these Terms or gained an unfair advantage in participating in the competition.

5.6. Our determination of the Prize winners will be final and binding, and no correspondence or other communication will be entered into.

5.7. Subject to the Prize’s availability, the Prize winner(s) will receive the Prize that is advertised on either the Facebook Competition post, the Facebook Competition photo and/or other social media channel. Auckland International Airport Limited accepts no responsibility or liability for any Prize winner’s enjoyment of any Prize or any other costs and expenses that may be incurred by the Prize winner relating to the Prize or the winner’s enjoyment of that Prize (including any travel related costs where relevant and unless otherwise specified in the Facebook Competition post and/or other social media channel).

5.8 We are committed to respecting your privacy at all times. By entering the Competition you agree to our Privacy Policy that can be found here.

Defined Terms and Interpretation

In these Terms, the following words have the following special meanings:

"Terms" means these Competition terms and conditions (as amended from time to time);

"we", "our", "us" means Auckland International Airport Limited; and

"you" means a person entering the Competition.
